I had the unique privilege of watching three baby goshawks fledge from their nest located two hundred feet up in a giant sequoia tree. These powerful raptors thrive in untouched wilderness groves, away from the chainsaws and bulldozers of government agencies, non-profit organizations, and the “coalition” that has been ignorantly logging and burning formerly intact forests and turning them into stumps, scorched earth, and tree farms. This is but one example of the fantastic prolific life that flourishes farther afield, where real forests exist. Turn up the volume and watch until the end when one of the babies finally flies away.
